Doctor! Doctor! – Guest Speaker in Junior Infants

For the month of September, we have been learning the names of the parts of the body and using this information in our Role-Play Doctor’s Surgery during Aistear. 

We were delighted to welcome Doctor Saleem Ahktar Malik into our classroom on Friday to speak to the class about being a doctor and how to look after our bodies. 

Doctor Saleem Ahktar Malik brought in his stethoscope and his scrubs for us to see. We all had a turn of listening to his heart through the stethoscope. 

Thank you so much Doctor Saleem and Rabiyah for visiting our classroom. It was a very special day for all of us. I am sure we will have many aspiring doctors after your visit to us.
