Congratulations to the Scoil Ursula football team for a great win in their third game of the Sciath na Scol. It was a great performance by everyone, with huge improvements made during the tournament.Well done all!!!!
The next orienteering event will take place on Tuesday 10th October in Doneraile Park. This will be our first competitive event of the year one of the most beautiful parks in Cork. The bus will leave at 9am and return for 1pm approx. This is open to 5th and 6th class pupils.
As always the pupils can wear their own, old clothes going to the event but must bring their uniform and a change of shoes and socks. They must also bring their lunch and plenty of water. This promises to be a fun and fast event!
The pupils from 5th and 6th class had a great day orienteering in Doneraile Park on Tuesday. The weather stayed dry and the sun was shining. Although the course was tricky and challenged the pupils, they all completed it and finished it with smiles on their faces! Liam O’Reilly was the first pupil to finish for Scoil Ursula with his teammates running close behind.
