Last Friday the whole school got the chance to celebrate Scoil Ursula’s 50th Anniversary. The afternoon started with Canon Tadhg giving a special blessing for the school. During the ceremony each student was celebrated by awarding them with a 50th anniversary medal and student of the year awards were presented to eight lucky students. Tokens of our appreciation were given to our fantastic Home School Liaison Teacher Mrs. Nolan who will be retiring this year.
After an incredible performance in the halla our school choir released 50 balloons into the sky to represent each year of Scoil Ursula in the present school building.
