1st Class are really enjoying learning to play hurling with Pat every Tuesday morning.

As you can see they are learning a variety of skills and improving a lot.

Music Generation

The children in fourth class are preparing for the school nativity play. In the pictures they are practicing “Away in a Manger” on their recorders whilst Clodagh accompanies them on the keyboard. They sounded great and we are looking forward to watching them perform in the school nativity.

Hurling

Fourth class have been training with Pat from Blackrock hurling club over the past four weeks. The children have really enjoyed their time with Pat. They both learn and practice a range of skills each week. The pictures show how each lesson has progressed from skills such as stopping a ball on the ground, the roll lift, controlling a moving ball, blocking, batting, and striking from the ground/ from the hand.
