Wednesday’s Champion
A NEW CHAMPION HAS BEEN FOUND! Wednesday, Samuel Finally triumphed having been a very strong contender throughout the competition. With a final time of an impressive 8 seconds he proved to be too much for the defending champion Sara, who was very gracious in defeat. An exhilarating day of battles and the championship has changed hands for the first time. Who can be the one to challenge our champion next? Or will Samuel refuse to be beaten? Tomorrow will hold all of the answers. Stay tuned…
AND THE NEW…. Yes, that’s right! We have a new champion once again! Some might remember Daniel from the thrilling and epic victory he had over Samuel in the great Mixed Multiplication competition back before Easter. That really was a day to remember with both boys recording impressive 8 and 9 seconds and fortunately for the Multiplication champion, it was Daniel who scored the better of the two. Today, Daniel burst back onto the Mixed Division scene and making himself known within the championship with an impressive victory over the ever-working Kacie. Daniel recorded the fastest scores throughout the day and deservedly became the champion for Thursday. While Kacie may not have won today, her performances definitely showed that she is also no to be underestimated in the proceedings. A third champion has been found today showing the extremely high standard these future mathematicians are setting. Will a fourth champion be discovered this coming Friday, or will Daniel hold onto the title for bank holiday break? Stay tuned because it’s getting more exciting by the day!

Thursday’s Champion Daniel
AND GUESS WHO’S BACK? Friday’s champion was once again the fantastic Sara! She claimed her title for the third time with a powerful performance against Godspower in a fascinating encounter. Godspower was a worthy opponent forcing a rematch in the final after the two were tied on time! But it was Sara who emerged victorious and is now being widely tipped as the favourite to walk away with the Championship belt. Stay tuned as this thrilling contest unfolds going into its penultimate week.

Friday’s Champion Sara for her Third time!
What a contest!!! Daniel Lynch, the Multiplication Champion has come back with a bang and also an eye on the Division Championship. In an exciting and nerve wrecking sequence, Daniel has overcome the challengers for both the bank holiday Monday and also Tuesday! Daniel mounted a massive challenge to the defending champion Sara and gained even further respect within this competition.
On Tuesday, Daniel established a fearful reputation by beating the mighty Samuel in an epic showdown! This was the first time where contenders fought in a play-off method and the winner would be the one who won two out of three games. Samuel took the first game convincingly and left Daniel with it all to do. However, having tied for game 2 two times, Daniel persisted and finally got the win in game 2 setting a game 3 finale. And it was here that Daniel prevailed to claim the championship belt for the third time! Godspower and Adam also had a 3rd place play-off where Godspower came out a deserving 3rd place.
This competition has only gotten better as the days go on. Who will take home the ultimate prize this Thursday? More surprises are still on the cards before we find out that’s for sure.

Monday & Tuesday’s Champion Daniel
Wednesday has a new champion!!! Well, kind of new anyway. Samuel returned to the frame today with a massive victory to really spice things up in the contest! From the beginning of the day, Samuel looked like he had a new fire in his eyes. A want. A need. Today was going to be his day no matter what. After annihilating most of the class, he came up against his old rival in current champion of Daniel. However, Samuel proved too much in this semi final and moved on to the final stage against Sara! The stage was set and Samuel gave his best performance yet and blew the competition wide open for tomorrow, the final day. It’s a pity this thrilling contest must come to a close but it really has been great to see how much each of them have come.

On a lighter, more friendly note, we held a miniature contest among a smaller group in which George came out victorious for the first time ever. He truly was delighted with his achievement.

SAMUEL WINS THE ULTIMATE TABLES CHAMPIONSHIP!!!!!
Last Friday, Samuel became the Ultimate Tables Champion of 5th class with an astonishing performance over the incredibly talented Daniel. In a match up that had become known as “The Rivalry”, Samuel and Daniel went head to head one last time to see who would take home the title. In a rematch of the multiplication championship final, which saw Daniel emerge the champion, we saw Samuel take his revenge and come out victorious in the superb occasion. Daniel gave it his all no doubt, proved an extremely worthy opponent and would have made a great champion should he have won. But it was Samuel’s day and the boy who has a incredible record of 7 seconds on mixed division, proved too much for the rest of the class and became our worthy champion.
